This stand-alone course focuses on basic CPR techniques for adults and children but does not include first aid certification. Recertification is not available, meaning participants must retake the full course to renew their certification.

Participants in our workplace-approved CPR Level “A” and AED course will gain essential life-saving skills, including:

  • CPR techniques for adult and child victims.
  • Rescue procedures for breathing and unconscious emergencies.
  • Managing airway obstructions and respiratory complications.
  • Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)—when and how to apply it.
  • Recognizing and responding to cardiovascular emergencies, including heart attacks, angina, strokes, and transient ischemic attacks (TIA).

This hands-on training ensures you are confident and prepared to respond effectively in real-life emergencies.

Workplace-Approved CPR Certification

Upon successful completion of the CPR Level “A” and AED course, participants will receive a workplace-approved certification that is nationally accredited and valid for three years across Canada. Certificates are issued as wallet-sized cards, with the option to upgrade to a wall-mount certificate for a small additional fee. All certifications meet government and legislative standards for your region.

The CPR Level “A” and AED course takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete.
