Learn to save the life of a loved one by taking Basic CPR A courses. We offer the most competitively priced, comfortable, and convenient CPR level “A” and AED courses in your area. Our courses offer the latest techniques and hands-on training using the latest and newest equipment. workplace approved CPR courses follow the strict guidelines and recommendations offered through the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) which provides the CPR standards for all of the major providers in Canada. Our CPR “A” courses are led by workplace-approved certified instructors and upon completion of the course, candidates will receive a workplace-approved CPR level “A” and AED certificate. This course is designed for people that need only the most basic CPR training for rescues of adults and children. This is a stand-alone CPR course and no first aid certification is included. Re-certification courses are not available for this course. Candidates that need to renew certification in stand-alone CPR level “A” must re-take the full course.

Candidates who register in a workplace-approved CPR level “A” and AED course will learn the following:

  • CPR for adult and child victims.
  • Rescues for breathing and unconscious adult and child victims.
  • Airway obstructing and respiratory complications with CPR for adult and child victims.
  • Recognition of when and training on how to apply an automated external defibrillator.
  • Treatment of victims suffering from cardiovascular emergencies including heart attacks, angina, strokes, and transient ischemic attacks (TIA).

workplace approved Certification:

When candidates successfully complete this course they will receive workplace-approved CPR and AED certificates. These certificates are wallet-sized cards that are valid for 3 years. Candidates can opt for wall mount certificates for a small additional fee. Work-approved certification meets government and legislative standards for your area and is nationally accredited throughout Canada.

Course Length For CPR A Courses:

The course length of a CPR level “A” and AED course is approximately 3 to 4 hours.

Course Cost:

The cost of a CPR level “A” course varies depending on your location. The course fee is approximately 50 dollars (fee includes workplace-approved certification fee, taxes, and CPR manual).

Additional Notes:

All of the major CPR providers throughout Canada released new updates and standards for CPR in 2011 and 2012.

Registration:

To register for a CPR level “A” and AED course selects your location from the main menu or side menu. Once you have selected you will be directed to a workplace-approved training provider in your area that offers all of the CPR courses. All of our partners offer simple and convenient registration systems to make registration quick and easy.
